ARE YOU IN ON OUR SOCIAL AND SUSTAINABILITY ACTIONS?

We are committed to ForMóbile having a positive impact on people and the planet. We want to play a key role in helping the entire community improve their own sustainability, connecting people to the networks and knowledge they need to help solve the big challenges of the future.

Sustainability at ForMóbile

ForMóbile, an international fair for the Furniture and Wood Sector, recognizes the importance of sustainability in its initiatives. For us, sustainability represents a commitment to both the present and the future, underlining our responsibility to promote an environmentally conscious, socially equitable and economically viable world.

We face significant challenges in the furniture and wood sector when it comes to sustainability, including carbon emissions, ethical forest management and wood certification. Energy efficiency, more sustainable raw materials, waste generation and the inclusion of professionals and technologies in the sector are also part of the scenario. However, we see these challenges as opportunities to innovate, seek efficient solutions and promote more sustainable practices.

ForMóbile seeks to be a platform to discuss and face these challenges, inspiring participants to adopt sustainable practices. By joining forces during events, we strive to strengthen a transformative movement in the sector, collectively building a sustainable future. We want the commitment of each participant not only as a response to current challenges, but as a collective construction of a sustainable future.

As part of our commitment, we are focused on three pillars of sustainability

With the aim of contributing to the development of skills and technical capabilities of young people and adults, for the furniture sector and the creative economy, ForMóbile promotes free content focused on management, carpentry, design and industry at the attractions ForMóbile Stage and Maker Space.
ForMóbile values the inclusion, participation and empowerment of women in the sector and in carpentry. Through strategic partnerships (curated by Stopa Lab), we select sector professionals for presentations and conversation circles.
Encouraging diversification, technological modernization and innovation in the sector, in addition to supporting productive activities, the generation of decent employment, entrepreneurship and the formalization and growth of micro, small and medium-sized companies, ForMóbile promotes its ForMóbile Stage attractions, with special emphasis on to the theme Modern Carpentry and the multiple management aspects for this audience, in addition to the Maker Space and the Wood Space, focused on specific solutions for the transformation of solid wood.
Aiming at the accessibility of our content and the inclusion of the public, the ForMóbile Stage will feature a Sign Language interpreter in all presentations.
In addition to attracting exhibiting companies, both Brazilian and foreign, with solutions for all stages of the furniture chain, ForMóbile takes place with the support of strategic associations in the sector such as ABIMAQ, Affemaq, Abimóvel and Eumabois.
In partnership with Leo Madeiras, ForMóbile will also have the Social Stand, a 100m² space with solutions from Leo's Carpentry School. The furniture produced there will be donated to institutions and NGOs served by Leo Social.
In addition to programming content during the event and on digital channels, ensuring that everyone has access to information, ForMóbile guides all its actions and those of exhibitors around responsible consumption, including efficient use of energy and natural resources, reduction in generation of waste and encouraging reuse and recycling, and responsible hiring in the supply chain. Exhibiting companies with sustainability actions, including those with more efficient resources or concrete socio-environmental actions, are highlighted in the event's publicity.
And for the first time, ForMóbile also embraces the Better Stands program, promoted globally by Grupo Informa. Learn more about Better Stands and its ecological impact below.
ForMóbile encourages businesses focused on sustainable management of all types of forests, also focused on stopping deforestation, restoring degraded forests and increasing reforestation.

CIPEM (Center for Wood-Producing and Exporting Industries of the State of Mato Grosso), a union of eight Forestry-based business unions, will be present at Wood Space and will present an exclusive lecture on the ForMóbile Stage.
Focusing on promoting the national industry and developing the economy, ForMóbile will host the Buyer Project, carried out in partnership with the Brazilian Furniture Industry Association - ABIMÓVEL and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency - ApexBrasil, through the Brazilian Furniture Project .

Better Stands is a program by Informa Markets, organizer of ForMóbile, which aims to achieve zero waste from stands by 2030. The initiative aims to encourage exhibiting companies to abandon the use of disposable stands (single use) and prioritize the use of reusable structures.

By making their stand projects sustainable, assemblers and exhibitors will be recognized with Gold, Silver and Bronze seals at their stands during ForMóbile and after the event they will receive a digital certificate at their respective progress levels.

Participation in the Better Stands program brings benefits to the entire events market, the main one being that the adoption of reusable structures will drastically reduce waste generation and consequently the environmental impact of events.
